Removing any distraction of color helps the viewer to focus on the photo, the mood it creates, however not every photo works in black and white, the ones that do work are just explosive!!!
I have always been a huge fan of black and white photos, dark and moody story telling photos.. black and white also works with happy energetic moments… beautiful, abstract and timeless.
