Always remember that every photographer has their own unique style, they will use their style and vision to tell your wedding story, a very personal touch. My style is very relaxed and natural, I am a huge believer in capturing the moment, my aim is to catch the real smiles and laughter, those beautiful moments you will cherish for ever and bring you back memories.

Communication

Communication is key for both the photographer and the couple. We need to bond! A Photographer needs to be a people person, we have to do a lot of bossing around on the day and we have to do this in a nice way :) So breaking the ice in 5 mins after a 2 year booking on possibly the first or second meetup is important,.. we are like psychologists strapped with cameras.

It’s important for me to make sure my couples are crystal clear on exactly what to expect from their wedding photo package. Assisting my couples with answers before the questions are asked relieves any stress and helps my couples mellow out.

Costs

How does a photographer value their work? Experience, Demand, Creativity, unique vision, happy couples, living costs, expenses, equipment, taxes, Insurance, the list goes on and on…

Should you worry about the cost and budget? ... honestly … not really as photography will most probably be the least cost of any of your expenses for the day and the value of your wedding photos will be unlimited. Photos are forever! The cost should be the last thing to think about, i’m not saying pay 10, 000 Euros for a full day coverage, you can if you want to.. you know what I mean….

Equipment, Does it Matter?

Absolutely NOT! A professional photographer with experience, will have excellent understanding of different types of lighting situations, timing, how to compose and will know their equipment inside out, this is enough to get the job done!! as long I don’t turn up with a lego camera or an I-phone you should be fine.. so therefore don’t believe the hype, Canon, Nikon, Sony etc.. big lens, small lens, 1 k value 5 K value,. it’s all meaningless. Remember, you are booking your photography service for the artistic vision and style and not the equipment..

Terms and Conditions

Should you receive a contract? Is it important?, Yes and Yes it is. ‘‘the pen is mightier than the sword’’, as mentioned in the communications section, it’s important to know exactly what you will receive and how you will receive it and the rights you have for the photos, working hours, payments, the do’s and don’ts etc.. It’s important for both myself and my couples to feel comfortable and have an understanding of each other’s requirements in order for everything to run smoothly.
