How did this amazing couple meet?

‘‘We actually met through one of the bridesmaids (the one in the yellow dress, Alex). She and I were friends at the International School in Paphos and both moved to the UK for uni and work. She was living in a house-share about 2.5-3hrs from me at the time and invited me down for a Eurovision house party where we had to dress up as a country. Chris was one of her housemates. I went down that afternoon and we all hung out or a bit before the party and we sort of just hit it off. I went to the party as Spain and he went as Austria and was supposed to be Conchita Wurst but his red dress didn't arrive until the next morning so spent that morning strutting around the house in a red dress which was funny 😋 We were doing long distance for about a year going up and down the country every weekend to see eachother before moving in together. And that was 6 years ago now, the weekend we got married was also our anniversary weekend because we're terrible at remembering the date so we thought we'd lump it all in together so someone else could remind us😂’’

From the moment I received my first reply after Katerina’s inquiry looking for a Cyprus wedding photographer I knew at that moment, it was meant to be, I was the lucky photographer to of had the privilege to document this stunning couple’s Cyprus wedding at the exclusive Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri. I met up with Chris and Katerina for the first time on their wedding day, in true honestly, this couple are so much fun, so chilled and so much in love!!! The connection was real, loved every moment of their day. Word of advice to all the lovely couple’s out there to be wed, BE YOU! and if you need a photographer in Cyprus who goes with the flow with a candid and chilled photography style, give me a shout 😋
